A disabled user will not have access to any programs in their workspace. Admins and Agents will still be able to view the analytics and study data of disabled users.
- You can only disable a user at the workspace level.
- Only an Admin can disable/enable a user(s).
If a Creator (Admin/Agent/Curator) is added to your workspace as a learner and you disable this user, their Creator rights will be removed. Please remember to reinstate the user's Creator rights when enabling the user.

Quick links:
- Log into Gnowbe Dashboard and click Users.
- Find the user you wish to disable and click the three-dot icon under the Actions field.
- Click Disable user.
- Confirm your action.
- Once done, disabled users will appear greyed out in your workspace.
Note: The disabled user will NOT see any of the workspace's groups or programs in their Gnowbe library.
- Additionally, you can filter out disabled users and view only your active users by clicking Actions, then Exclude Disabled Users.
- To enable a user, click the three-dot icon and click Activate user.
Once activated, the user will receive access to programs in the workspace. Their user data (if any) will be restored for them.

How to mass disable/enable users
- Log into Gnowbe Dashboard and click Users.

Select your users by checking the boxes beside their names.

Click Action.

Select Disable users.
- Additionally, you can filter out disabled users and view only your active users by clicking Actions, then Exclude Disabled Users.
- To enable your users, select the ones you want to activate, click Actions, then Activate users.
Alternative method
Admins can choose to upload a CSV file to mass disable/enable their users.

Access the User tab in your workspace and click Actions.

Select Mass disable/enable users.
- Choose to either enable or disable users.
- Upload your CSV file.

Your CSV file should look something like this:
*Only one column is needed. Please include Email as a header in row 1.
