How to purchase your add-on
Your workspace's billing admin must be the one to add this feature.
- Log into Gnowbe Dashboard, then click Settings.
- Click Billing Details.
- Expand Plan and Payment Details.
- Click Manage Add-ons.
- Click Manage Add-on under Automated Translations.
- Select your add-on quantity, then Change Quantity to confirm.

Do I get to pick the # of languages each month, or is it fixed?
You can use as many languages (see below for the list of available languages) as you want at any point in time, given that your add-on plan has enough words to cover the entire text content of the program that you would like to translate. - How can I check how many words I have used?
The Data Reporting section under your workspace settings displays a breakdown of your Automated Translation usage per month. This information is only available to admins of your workspace. -
What happens when I hit the word limit?
Once the limit is reached or if the remaining words available are not enough to cover the translation of the entire program, there will be a message inside the app highlighting that more translation units need to be added to continue with the translation process. -
How am I billed for adding this feature to my plan?
The charge is pro-rated for the remaining duration of your current subscription. For instance, if you have the Pro plan expiring in 4 months and decide to add the Automated Translation feature, your billing will be calculated based on the remaining 4 months multiplied by $49.95 per 50k words. -
What if I don’t use all the words in my translation add-on? Will it be saved for future use?
No. You cannot store the credits if you don't use it. The credits will be reset to the units selected in the plan at the beginning of each month. -
Who is authorized to add this feature to the workspace?
Anyone who is a Billing Admin in the workspace is authorized to add this one. -
What happens to my purchased translation credits after the end of my billing period? For example, I'm on a Pro plan (quarterly), and I have 50k words. I use 20k words by the end of 3 months and then unsubscribe from this add-on. Do I lose my remaining 30k words? Do I get 50k words every billing period that add up?
After each month, the 50k word limit would be reset; all credits that were not used will expire. -
What would be the solution if I wanted to translate one program into 15 different languages? Should I migrate to the Enterprise plan only because of this limitation/add-on?
There is no limitation on the number of languages but on the words being translated. Thus, as long as you are within your word limit, you can use any amount of available languages you want. -
I register, and I have a free plan with 10k words. I then upgraded to the Starter plan. Do I keep my 10k words? For how long?
The initial 10k words constitute a one-time usage and should be utilized first. Subsequently, any additional add-on purchased will be applied once the initial 10k words have been used up. -
I have been a free user for half a year. Do I get these 10k words for free on my existing workspace?
Yes, once. -
I have a quarterly Pro plan and purchase 500k words; what happens with that limit after 3 months? Do my used words reset, and the limit is refreshed?
Your word limit resets every month regardless of the billing period. -
If I make future changes - like adding a new session - in the original program, will it automatically update the translated version, or will I have to update the translation manually?
