1. Dashboard Perspectives: Admins vs. Managers
What you see when you log in depends entirely on your role. Gnowbe customizes your dashboard view so you only interact with the data and tools relevant to your responsibilities.
Here is exactly what each role sees:

What Admins See:
- You get the macro view.
- Your dashboard grants you unrestricted access to the entire workspace, allowing you to view and manage every single Group, User, and Program across the platform.

What Managers See:
- You get the micro view.
- Your dashboard is highly focused, displaying only the specific Group(s) you have been assigned to oversee.
- If you log in and don't see the big organizational overview, don't panic—you're exactly where you need to be!
2. Getting Around
Once you access your Workspace or your specific Group, look at the top of your screen. You'll see a neat row of tabs.
These are your primary navigation tools:

General:
- This is your home base.
- The General tab displays a high-level overview of your dashboard, including top-level analytics, active user counts, and quick-glance engagement metrics.

Groups:
- This is where you create new user groups, view existing ones, and access group-level analytics.

Programs:
- Your central hub for content.
- This tab displays every training program assigned to your Workspace or Group. Come here to dive into program-specific metrics and control exactly what your learners see by adding, removing, or disabling programs as needed.

Users:
- This is where you view all the users in your workspace or in specific groups.
- Here, you can invite new learners, check individual progress, resend invitations, and manage alumni (like disabling users who have left the company).

Shop:
- This tab is home to GnowbeShop, our built-in e-commerce engine.
- Click here to set up your digital storefront. Easily create, bundle, and sell your premium content directly to users.

Messaging:
- Use this tab to send announcements, automated nudges, and push notifications to keep your learners engaged and on track.

Settings:
- Manage your technical details here.
- Come here to update Workspace or Group names, handle integrations, set up branding, and configure backend settings.
💡 Pro-Tip: Spend five minutes clicking through each of the tabs just to get a feel for where everything lives. You can't break anything just by looking around!
3. Finding Your Way Back
As you click around, it is easy to find yourself deep inside a group checking analytics and wondering, "Wait, how do I get back to the main Workspace view?"
To navigate backward, simply look at the top-left corner of your dashboard.
You'll see a clickable "breadcrumb" trail. Just click your Workspace name to return to the main workspace page, or click a Group name to head back to that specific group.
Navigating the dashboard really is that simple! Take a few minutes to click around, explore your new command center, and get comfortable with where everything lives.
