Admins can edit the custom attributes they have tagged their users with directly on the Dashboard.
Note: Editing attributes do not affect users' access to groups if you are using group-level filtration for invitations.
- For example, you're currently using group filters to invite learners to a group and have set up a filter for Department = Sales. Manually changing a user's attribute from Marketing to Sales will not automatically invite the user in. Similarly, users already in the group will not be removed if your change their Deparment attribute from Sales to something else.
Here's how:
- Log into Gnowbe Dashboard and click Users.
- Search and select the user that you want to edit the custom attributes for.
- In the individual user's profile, scroll down to the Custom User Attributes section.
- Click the Pen icon to make your change.
- Click OK to save.
