How to use Gnowbe's Magic Creator

Magic Creator empowers you to effortlessly generate complete programs, individual sessions, or specific actions, based on either your existing content/materials or prompts. Navigate to your Creator Workspace (the workspace where you will be creating programs).
Toggle to Creator Mode.
Click +Create.
Select Program.
There will be three options:
- Upload a File: Upload your documents to kickstart the Magic Creator build process.
- Describe Training: Describe your training topic and let Magic Creator build your program automatically.
- Build Manually: Start with a blank canvas and create a Gnowbe program from scratch.
Select Describe Training.
The Gnowbe AI Magic Creator window will open. Create your program in just 4 simple steps!
In Step 1, give your program a title that reflects your program's main theme or goal.
You can also upload existing materials—such as PDF files, training videos, or other resources—for our AI to work with, allowing it to contextualize and tailor your program to your specific content.

By uploading your materials, Gnowbe AI reads, watches, and listens to your content to grasp its core concepts and key messages. It then generates a program based on these insights without directly embedding the original files. Supported file formats include:
- Documents (.pdf, .txt, .js, .html, .md, .xml, .rtf)
- Videos (.mp4, .mpeg, .mov, .avi, .flv, .mpg, .webm, .wmv, .3gpp)
- Audio files (.wav, .mp3, .aiff, .aac, .ogg, .flac)
- Images (.jpg, .jpeg, .png, .webp, .heic, .heif)
- 20MB size limit per file
- A total of 10 files per creation
- A total of 200MB size limit for all files
If you've uploaded a document, you can choose from two options for how the AI analyzes your content.
- High Precision: The AI will focus on accuracy and extract detailed insights, ensuring the output closely aligns with the original information.
- Creative Exploration: The AI will adopt a more open-ended approach, with greater freedom to generate diverse and imaginative ideas that may go beyond the original content.
Guide our AI Agents by explaining and specifying the content you want to cover. List key themes or subjects to help shape the program's structure.
Define your learning objectives and clearly outline what learners should achieve by the end of the program.
Click Next to move to Step 2, where you will set the context parameters for Magic Creator. You can manually customize these settings or select Get AI Suggestions to let the AI assist you.
- Use Case: Set the context and select the purpose of your program.
  - Training, Onboarding, Sales Enablement, Leadership Development, Operations, Safety and Compliance, Partner Engagement, or Customer Engagement.
- Language: Select the desired output language.
  - Choose from 38 available options, including the most commonly used languages.
- Program Length: Select the number of sessions for your program. Each session takes about 10-20 minutes on average to complete.
  - 3, 6, 10, or Other.
- Target Audience: Specify your target audience.
  - Individual, Manager, Senior, or Other
- Tone of Voice: Select the tone to determine how the content is written and communicated.
  - Professional: Clear, authoritative, and polished—ideal for business or formal content.
  - Casual: Friendly, approachable, and conversational—perfect for relatable and informal engagement.
  - Inspirational: Motivational and uplifting—great for personal growth or leadership topics.
  - Playful: Fun, quirky, and engaging—designed to capture attention and delight readers.
  - Educational: Written as if you are a college-level teacher.
  - Story-driven: Rich in narratives and personal anecdotes.
- Program Difficulty: Select the skill level to determine the complexity of the content.
  - Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, or Universal
- Generate Images: Enable this option to have our AI create relevant visuals and images for your program.
- Use Emojis: Enable this option to integrate context-matching emojis throughout your text, making the content more visually engaging and expressive for your learners.
- Audio Podcast: Enable this option to generate dynamic, two-person podcast-style conversations that make your content more relatable and engaging.
Once done, click Generate Outline.
In Step 3, an outline is generated for you to review your program sessions.
Expand More Options to edit your outline. Choose from the suggested prompts or describe the changes you want to make to your outline. Alternatively, click Back to refine your descriptions and customizations in the previous steps.
Making customizations will automatically create new versions of your program outline. You can review all generated outlines and select the version you prefer. When you are satisfied with your selection, click Next to proceed.
You've reached Step 4! Review the Program Creation Summary page carefully. It shows the planned sessions, settings, and the total Gnowbe AI Tasks required for your creation.
Click Create Program to proceed. Note that this action will utilize your Gnowbe AI Tasks.
Sit tight while Gnowbe brings your program to life! It runs completely in the background, so feel free to grab a coffee or work on something else, and check back in a bit.
Once complete, your program will be built using a strategic mix of action types rooted in microlearning best practices. This ensures your content is naturally participatory, social, and deeply engaging. From there, the canvas is yours—feel free to edit and customize the content to perfectly suit your needs!

Using Magic Creator at the Session and Action level

You can also leverage AI at the Session and Action levels to further customize your content. Don't worry if your program wasn't originally created with AI—Magic Session and Action Creator can be used on any existing project. This is perfect for when you want to use AI to partially build or polish specific sections of your training.

Generating Sessions:

In Creator mode, click + Add Session in the left sidebar.
Select Describe Training.
Give your Session a title, upload existing materials, or write prompts to guide our AI in generating your session.

Generating Actions:

In Creator mode, click + Add Action.
Select Describe Training.
Title your Action, upload existing materials, or write a quick prompt to guide our AI. You can then define the exact Action type you want the AI to fill with content, or sit back and let the AI decide which Action fits best next.
