You’ve done the heavy lifting and built your program, and you're probably eager to hit "Share." But before it goes live, it needs a final inspection! Just like a new car rolling off the assembly line, your program requires quality control.
In this article, we’ll walk through the QC process to ensure your content is flawless, professional, and ready for your learners.
Stepping Into Your Learner's Shoes
When you've been staring at your program for days, you get builder's blindness. You know exactly how the program is supposed to work, so your brain glosses over the little mistakes.
To break this blindness, you need to look at your program with fresh eyes. 👀 Come back to it after 1 or 2 days, or get someone who hasn't seen it before to test the entire experience from start to finish and give you feedback.
"I’ve been staring at this building for so long, Bob, that I literally cannot see past this smudge!"
Testing the Flow and Pacing: Don't just click through your program as fast as possible to see if the pages load. Actually participate in it!
Do the Sessions naturally flow from one to the next?
Does a Session feel too long? (If you start getting bored while reading your own content, your learners definitely will!)
Is the tone consistent?
