How to embed and view resource files (PDF and slides) in Gnowbe

One of the beauties of using Gnowbe as an authoring tool is that you can embed different types of multimedia content and web-based resources in your programs. This tutorial will show you how to embed PDF files and presentation slides for learners to view directly in Gnowbe.

Embedding PDF files in Gnowbe

1. Go into Edit mode of your program. Click on the Resources icon found on the right side of the page.
   
   
   
2. Click Create Resource Bag
   
   
   
3. Click Add Resources
   
   
   
4. Upload your document
   
   
   
5. Once done, copy your resource link by clicking the link icon.
   
   
6. Add an internal web link action to your program.
   
   
   
7. Paste the resource link you copied in step 5 into your internal web link action.
   
   
   
8. Your PDF file will now be viewable on Gnowbe.
   

Embedding slides in Gnowbe
We will show you how to embed a Google Slide presentation in Gnowbe.

1. Prepare your presentation. Once done, click File and then Publish to the web (this will make your file public).
   
   
   
2. Click Publish.
   
   
   
3. Copy the link.
   
   Your link will look something like this:

4. Update the link. You will need to replace pub with embed.
