This guide will walk you through the very basics of building a Gnowbe program using our authoring platform. If you're a new curator, click here first to understand what a Gnowbe program is.

A Gnowbe program is made up of different sessions and actions. Curators will...
- Stack sessions to build a program.
- Stack different action types to build a session.

1. How to create a program
- Log into Gnowbe (web.gnowbe.com) and click +Create on the top right-hand corner of the page.
- Select Create Your Own.
- Fill out your program title and click Create program.
2. Edit mode
- Click Edit/Save and View at the top of your page to switch between curator and learner mode.
- You're in Edit mode if you see the yellow-framed text editor boxes.
- Edits to your Gnowbe program are made in real time, and any updates will be instantly synced across your draft and 'live' programs.
3. How to duplicate a program
- In Edit mode, click Go to Program Settings on the left sidebar.
- Scroll down and expand the Others tab.
- Click Duplicate Program.
- Give Gnowbe a while to load your duplicated program. The duplicated program will automatically be titled in this format [program title](duplicate) to help you distinguish between the original and the duplicated program.
4. How to delete a program
Note that this step cannot be undone, so please be careful when deleting programs!
- In Edit mode, click Go to Program Settings on the left sidebar.
- Scroll down and expand the Others tab.
- Click Delete Program.
- You will be prompted to confirm the deletion.
- Type DELETE to double-confirm the deletion.
1. How to add a new session
- In Edit mode, click Add Session on the left sidebar.
- Give your session a title and click Continue.
2. How to copy/paste a session
You can copy/paste sessions across different programs.
- To copy: Click the three-dot icon next to the Session title.
- Click Copy Session.
- To paste: Click Add Session on the left sidebar.
- Click Paste.
3. How to change the order of sessions
Grab the hamburger icon to drag and shift sessions up and down a program.
4. How to delete a session
- Click the three-dot icon next to your session title.
- Click Remove Session. Note that you cannot delete Session 1.
⚠️ Be careful with this! Deleted sessions cannot be recovered.
1. How to add a new action
- Inside a Session, scroll down and click Add a New Action.
- Select your action type and click Add and Edit.
- Give your action a title to proceed.
2. How to copy/paste actions
Note: You can copy/paste actions across different sessions and programs.
- To Copy: Click the three-dot icon next to the action title.
- Select Copy
- To paste: Click Add a New Action.
- Select Paste Copied Action
3. How to change the order of actions
Grab the hamburger icon to drag and shift actions up and down a session.
4. How to delete an action
- Click the three-dot icon next to the action title.
- Select Delete.
⚠️ Be careful with this! Deleted actions cannot be recovered.
