What is a Library Name?
The Library Name function allows you to label and group two or more groups together in an organization on Gnowbe Dashboard. This will enable programs distributed in different groups on the Dashboard to appear as belonging to the same group in a user's library on Gnowbe Web.
Here's an example of how this function works. Consider this scenario:
- Group 1 contains Program A
- Group 2 contains Program B
Typically, users will see their programs in separate groups if they are added to both groups.
By using the Library Name feature to label Group 1 and Group 2 under the same name on the Dashboard (I'm using Marketing Department as an example), both Program A and B will appear to belong to a single group called Marketing Department in the user's library.
However, these two programs are actually distributed into two different groups on the Dashboard. Therefore, users will still need to be managed separately (e.g., they will need to be added to both groups to access both programs).
How to set up a Library Name?
You will find a blank next to your group name on the Group page to fill in your Library Name.
Type in the same name for both groups to set your library up.
