Gnowbe allows Admins/Agents to set a program deadline for their users. This feature is available only at the group level and automatically makes a program unavailable to all users in the same group once the deadline is exceeded.
What expired programs look like for learners
- Expired programs will appear greyed out in a learner's library. An Expired label will also appear when the learner hovers over the program cover image.
- Learners will also NOT be able to continue learning from any expired programs.
How to set program deadlines
Ensure that the program you wish to set a deadline for has already been shared with the group.
- Log into Gnowbe Dashboard and click Groups.
- Select the group where the program you wish to set a deadline for is shared in
- Click Programs.
- Select the program and click Actions.
- Click Edit.
- A sidebar will appear for you to set your program deadline.
There are two deadline settings for Admins/Agents to play with:
-
- Available until (set programs to expire on a specific date)
- Programs will expire for ALL users on an absolute date.
- Programs will expire at the start of your expiry date. E.g., If you set 31st January as the expiry date, the program cannot be viewed from 31st January, 12 am onwards)
- Available for (set programs to expire after a certain number of days)
Program expiry will be relative for all users. The program will be made available to users for a set number of days, and the expiry countdown will begin only when a user starts on their program.
- Available until (set programs to expire on a specific date)
-
- Once done, click Save.
- You can check for a program's expiry on the Programs page.
Quick note
If both expiration settings are toggled on, the earlier expiration date will always override the later expiration date.

I tried to start a professional hide-and-seek team, but it didn't work out. Turns out, good players are hard to find.
