Curators now have the ability to translate their programs effortlessly with Automated Translation. This powerful feature allows you to easily duplicate your existing program into a new language of your choice, utilizing machine translation. Please note that only text within textboxes will be translated.
For instance, you can easily translate your program from English to, let's say, Spanish and the result will resemble something like this:

Here's how:
- Log into Gnowbe Web and navigate to your workspace where the translation feature has been activated.
- Find and access your program.
- Go into Edit mode.
- Go to Program Settings.
- Scroll down and expand the Translation tab.
- Click Translate Program.
If the button is not visible, please reach out to your Gnowbe representative to activate the Automated Translation feature for your workspace. - Select the language from the drop-down menu to which you want to translate your program.
- Click Duplicate and Translate.
- Please allow Gnowbe a moment to complete the translation process. Once finished, your program will be duplicated into your selected new language, appearing as a separate program on your homepage. The translated version will be clearly labeled in the language of your choice.
FAQ
- Once a program is translated, you can access the program and edit the content however you want, as it is now its own standalone program and not connected in any way to the original program. Any edits made to the translated program will not impact the original program.
- Similarly, if you make an edit to the original program after you translate and duplicate, the changes will not show up in the translated program.
- If you are planning to translate a program into multiple languages, make sure to translate from the original program every time so that the content doesn’t get distorted.
- Once a workspace has Automated Translation turned on, every Creator in the workspace will have access to this feature.
- Q: How can I determine the Word Count of my program?
A: The number of words to be translated for your program will be displayed when selecting your language. - How can I check how many words I have used?
The Data Reporting section under your workspace settings displays a breakdown of your Automated Translation usage per month. This information is only available to admins of your workspace. - Our current list of supported languages for translation includes:
