Overview of the translation process
- Gnowbe exports the program's written text into a CSV file and sends it to the translator.
- The translator will translate the CSV file. Once done, the translator sends the file back to Gnowbe.
- Gnowbe will import the translated CSV file back into the program.
How to translate your CSV file
- You will receive the CSV file from your Gnowbe representative. The file contains four columns with the following headers: id, field, english, and translation.
- Translate the text in the english column and paste it into the translation column.
- You'll notice random symbols as you copy the English text for translation; please DO NOT remove these symbols from your translated text. The symbols are for formatting purposes when we import the file back into Gnowbe.
For example:Keep the symbols in the translation column!
